We have had the fantastic opportunity to step out of the workshop and onto the film set over the years. Creating one of a kind machines that feature on TV, adverts as well as supporting YouTube video shoots and TV shows with engineering services.

DINOSAUR WITH STEPHEN FRY - CHANNEL 5
Credited as Props Engineer we undertook the task of creating 3 mechanical demonstrator machines to show key features of dinosaurs. The team created 3 experiments at short notice ready for on set filming. On site engineering services as well as machine operation.
SIDEMEN ROBOT BATTLE - YOUTUBE
The SIDEMEN are a UK YouTube super group who create crazy videos every week. This particular week they wanted to recreate the childhood classic Robot Wars. Robots were built, custom arena stage erected and they went to battle!
MAN vs ROBOT - FOX TV (PILOT)
We helped created some crazy robots for a US TV show called Man vs Robot. These included a monster 3 metre diameter autonomous hamster in a ball, competitor buggies, roller skating humanoid, tracked seed robot to play real life PONG. All machines were designed, made and tested in 6 months ready for filming on set
FLYING DINOSAURS WITH COLIN FURZE - TV PILOT
We worked alongside Roaming Robots to prototype a number of flying dinosaur test rigs to feature as part of a pilot TV show, hosted by the YouTube legend Colin Furze. We built the rigs Colin did the talking. Last job on the list was to throw them off a cliff in Wales and see how the performed....
MAGIC THE GATHERING - YOUTUBE
We worked alongside Extreme Robots to erect the custom built arena to house the fighting robots that would take part in "The Brothers War" Magic the Gathering advertising campaign
COSTA COFFEE - ADVERT
Helping to create 5 weird contraptions to show the different stages of creating a hot cup of Costa Coffee. These remote controlled creations were then operated on set for filming of an advert campaign to air online.
ROBOT WARS - BBC 2
As part of Team Beast we created the pneumatic fighting robot BEAST and competed in the reboot series of Robot Wars
